Christopher "Chris" Lane Davis' Obituary
It is with broken hearts that we share the news of Chris Davis‘s death Tuesday, January 28, at 12:10 PM. He had recently turned 62.
If you knew Chris, you know what a fantastic and loyal father, husband, and friend he was. He and Beth married in 1983 and he was devoted to her. He loved doing things for Beth and making their home beautiful. He was an incredible advocate and tireless caregiver for Topher and impressed all Beth’s friends with the nursing skills he learned and performed. He was a wonderful brother to Michelle and Steve, brother-in-law to Jerry, uncle to nieces Melissa and Heather, and great-uncle to Maylee.
Chris lived life to the fullest and packed an incredible number of accomplishments in his 62 years. He was an amazing designer for an engineering company and later became a business owner. He was crazy about his three boys, dogs Rocky, Dak, and Cash. Chris loved to travel both in the USA and abroad. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed cars, fishing, boating, skeet shooting, movies, and golfing. Chris had countless friends and will be grieved by all who knew him.
Chris’s graveside Celebration of Life will be this Friday, January 31 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven in the Garden of the Last Supper. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospial for Children or Ronald McDonald House .
There will be a meal at Chris’s and Beth’s house immediately following. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to me (Brenda Leonard Stiverson) through a comment on this post or in Messenger. The family requests we dress casually and wear any shade of blue, Chris’s favorite color.
