Christopher Mark Lampley's Obituary
Christopher Mark Lampley, age 42, passed from this life on January 26, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida. He entered this world on June 8, 1983, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, born to his loving parents Mark Nelson Lampley and Brenda (McCollough) Lampley. From the very beginning, Christopher carried a light within him—one that touched countless lives and left an imprint that will never fade.
Christopher was known for his genuine heart, his kindness, and his unwavering desire to care for others. Helping people wasn’t just something he did; it was something that brought him true joy. Whether he was offering a hand, sharing a laugh, or cooking steaks for his family, he poured love into every moment. Family was the center of his world, and he especially cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephew. He adored his mama and her cooking, always looking forward to a home-cooked meal made with love. Spoiling the people he cared about came naturally to him, which always rang true when it came to his nieces and nephew.
He was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan and a man who believed in working hard and enjoying the rewards of that effort. His strong work ethic took root early in life, beginning in high school while showing pigs, and continued to grow throughout his career. After graduation, he started as a busboy at Texas Roadhouse and, through dedication and determination, rose all the way to operating his own Texas Roadhouse franchise in Fort Myers, Florida. He wasn’t just a boss—he was “Papa” and “Lamp” to his crew, a leader who cared deeply for his team and treated them like family.
Christopher also treasured the simple joys of his youth, especially the summers spent in the watermelon patch, where he and his family created memories that will forever be held close. He followed in his father’s steps and had a love for nice clothes and accessories. He loved spending time at the beach and being able to enjoy the simple things that life had to offer.
He lived with a heart of gold, a spirit full of generosity, and a love that radiated to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy is one of compassion, laughter, hard work, and devotion to the people he loved most. Christopher will be deeply missed, but the warmth he brought into the world will continue to shine through the lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ray and Mary McCollough and Maxine and Farrell Lampley. Left to cherish Christophers memory are his parents Mark and Brenda Lampley; sister Kady Voss and her husband Brandon; nieces and nephew Paisley, Presley, and Ledger Voss; aunt and uncles Mike McCollough, Mark McCollough and his wife Kim, Brian McCollough and his wife Amber, Barbara Mashburn and her husband Jim, and Michael Lampley; numerous cousins; along with other family members and friends who will remember his life with love in their hearts.
A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10am at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
