Christy Edelman's Obituary
Christy Edelman was born October 30 1952. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She worked various jobs while raising 3 children Christy married her husband Gene Edelman March 16, 1989. Gen was offered a job on a Naval Weapons Station and they re-located to California for 17 years. Christy was a home-maker and volunteered at the BCM in California. She was an animal lover so she loved helping animals. They rescued animals and placed them up for adoption into loving homes. Christy loved horses. She won several ribbons and trophies for barrel riding. Around this time is when she started having health issues. Christy and Gene re-located to Bella Vista, Arkansas 10 years ago. Christy’s health continued getting worse.Christy is preceded in death by her brother, Randall Dean Gilmore and her parents Roy and Oleta Gilmore.She is survived by her husband, Gene Edelman; Two sons, Barry Stites and Donald McGehee; Daughter, Sally Harris; Two step-daughters Lattonia Edelman, and DeAnna Jones; Step-son, Kenneth Edelman; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed but now she is out of pain and resting in heaven.Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
