Claud Junior White's Obituary
Claud Junior White, age 82, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 1, 2015. Claud was born on September 15, 1932 to his parents Nannie Bell McBride and Claud Stacey White in Lowe, Virginia. He received his general education from Makota Schools before joining the Army to fight in the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart and the Korean Service Medal with Two Bronze Stars. After his discharge, he began working as a self-employed truck driver, a job that he truly cherished. Claud married Dee Ann Knight on July 27, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his spouse Dee Ann White; his children Frances (Gary) Pickering, Mary (Robert) Tyson, Kathy White, David White, Willie (Gayle) White, Claud (Stacey) White, and Alvin White; stepchildren, Kathleen (Felipe) Fuentes, Crystal Young, Stephen R. (Joy S.) Young; grandchildren James Neubauer, Amy McPherson, Tony Butcher, Josh Flowers, Claudette O’Neill, William Sink, Julia Sink, Sonia Sink, Alexis Testerman; stepgrandchildren, Garrett Fuentes, Virginia Johnson, Dylan Cole, David Price, and McKenna Cole; and great-grandchildren Jaycee Neubauer, Jaida Neubauer, Josie Neubauer, Jalen Elesager, Autumn McPherson, Peyton Grimes, Liam Butcher, Hunter Butcher, and Jamie O’Neill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claud’s name to Folds of Honor.
