Aunt Claudia I wish even to this day that I would of been told of your passing or that you were even sick. I would of liked to of said goodbye. I have so many awesome memories of you. You teaching me to twirl a baton even though I was never as good as you were but it didn't stop me from trying. Spending the summers with Mamaw and Papaw Ray and swimming in your pool. Riding to work with you in the mornings, I could go on and on. The "pink stuff" you used to make during the holidays. You and Uncle Jim were always my favorites and still are. Happy Birthday Mom. Oh how I wish I could be in Heaven with you to celebrate. Aiden & I will be sending you balloons with special messages this evening-he wanted to attach a birthday cake! We compromised and he's going to draw one instead in school ?? Oh, mom, we miss you so much! I feel your presence often and I'll be eternally grateful for that. I have to say I am overwhelmed by the enormous amount of love, kindness & generosity my family & I have received since the passing of my dear, sweet momma. Saying "thank you" & "I love you" simply doesn't feel like enough to express the amount of gratitude I feel. I am thankful to be reminded that there are still so many good people in our world. Even complete strangers have wrapped their arms around us. True hearts that care deeply, are selfless & so kind just appear when you need them most. My mom was definitely one of those amazing souls. My heart aches from missing you, mom! I know you are the life of your "homecoming" party being thrown by all of your loved ones in Heaven ?? Claudia and I worked together for over a decade in downtown Tulsa. She was always a constant with her smiles and humor. My heart goes out to the family but especially Jim who knows he has lost a life partner in every sense of the word. Claudia will definitely be remembered fondly. May God bring some comfort to the family during this time of loss.

Claudia was a strong and wonderful person. She was my inspiration and my rock when I was going through breast cancer. She went through it long enough ago that she could look back on it and find humor. She helped me know what to expect, but always softened it with a story that made me laugh. I feel blessed to have been able to have her as a friend. God has another angel at his side.
