Tina was my favorite, favorite, favorite cousin who was more like a sister to me. Although we lost touch in our younger years we reconnected over the last 10 years. My job allowed me to visit a few times a year - even bringing my Mom a few times before her home-going. Tina and I even attended a rare concert performance by Stevie Wonder in Tulsa together! I enjoyed her so much! She even shared a dream she had about how God was bringing my husband to me. She was a special peraon and a blessing in every way!
Tina and I were each other's sounding board and faith-based encouragers. I thank God in heaven for allowing me to reconnect with my beautiful (inside and out) cousin. I also thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to see and hug Tina the week before He took her home.
Tina regularly shared her deep faith and her longstanding love for her family. She especially loved talking about her children and grandchildren. Tina was a beautiful example of Godly Love. We all miss Tina. The pain we feel is a reflection of how deep the love is for her. Our faith teaches us we will see her again. Until then, I am so inspired to be a kinder, softer, and more loving child of God based on the example set by my sweet and dear cousin Tina.
I love you Family. I'm praying for God's peace and healing as you mourn this great loss.
Love Cousin Cindy
