Clinton Tyler Middleton's Obituary
Clinton Tyler Middleton, 35, of Tulsa died at his home on Aug. 26, 2022. Clint was born May 24, 1987 in Tulsa to Sharon Newell (Middleton) and Steve Middleton.
Clint was raised in Tulsa where he graduated Edison High School in 2006 and immediately entered the service of the United States Marine Corps where he served two tours in Iraq. After completing his military service he returned to Tulsa where volunteered at the American Red Cross while attending college. He then worked at the Regional Medical before joining the Umatilla Veterans Crew as a wildfire firefighter in Oregon.
Clint returned to Tulsa from Oregon where he was employed at the EMSA ambulance service as an EMT. In 2020 he earned his degree in nursing and joined the staff of the St. John Hospital as an Emergency Room RN, where he was employed at the time of his death.
Clint was an avid outdoorsman and traveler. Most importantly he was a loving son and a kind soul with so many caring friends.
Clint is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Anne Julian and Virginia Newell and his grandfather, James “Buddy” Middleton. Clint is survived by his mother, Sharon Newell and father and stepmother Steve and Nicole Middleton, sister Lindsey Middleton and grandfather Ted Newell as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Sept. 7, 2022 at Floral Haven’s Memorial Chapel, 6500 S. 129th EA, with a come-and-go Celebration of Life to follow at the Floral Haven Family Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Clint’s memory to the Wildland Firefighters (wffoundation.org) or the American Red Cross (redcross.org).
