Clyde Max Stone's Obituary
Clyde Max Stone, 88 of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed from this life on Sunday, July 29, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born February 19, 1930 in Moody, Missouri to the late Andy Perkins Stone and Anna Lea Brown Stone. Clyde served in the United States Navy from November of 1948 to November of 1952 where he received the China Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and 5 stars, Navy Occupation Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and his Good Conduct Medal. After his military service he went on to work in retail as a manager. Clyde is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine Stone of the home; two daughters, Connie Rizzo and husband Ken of Springfield, Missouri and Brenda Schlatweiler and husband Bill of St. Peters, Missouri; two step-sons, Bruce Springer and wife Karen of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Robin Springer and wife Julie of Camarillo, California; one brother, Lyndell Stone and wife Marian of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; one sister, Eunice Cooper of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren, Kim, Amy, Shane, Brian, Steve and Nick; and four great-grandchildren, Serena, Oliver, Roman and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Anna Stone. There are no scheduled services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
