Clyde Dale Travis, 74, of Tulsa, left this life May 8, 2005. Clyde was born June 21, 1930 in Dover, Oklahoma to Fred and Grace (Williams) Travis. Clyde served his country during the Korean War. He worked many years for Southwestern Bell as a PBX Supervisor. After retiring from Southwestern Bell, Clyde became part-owner of many family businesses.When the company work load was not enough, he began the “Farm Project” in 1998. The “Farm Project” is a place for family and friends to go and enjoy themselves. This was his pride and joy. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, golfing, RVing and playing pitch with friends.Funeral services were held at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of St. Paul, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice, in memory of Clyde Travis.Survived By: by his wife, Carol of the home; children, Tina Zahn and her husband Henry and Tim Travis and his wife Michele, all of Tulsa; grandchildren, Mark Zahn and his wife Lori, Scott Zahn and his wife Stephanie, Neal Zahn and his wife Christy, Jason Zahn and his wife Stacey, Ashley Zahn and Renee Travis, all of Tulsa, OK; great-grandchildren Chelsea, Camden, Chloe, Mikaela, Taylor, Kennedy and Hunter; brother, Jr. Travis and his wife Edith of Jennings, OK, sisters Norma Ganner and her husband Bert, of Tulsa and Dorthy Chapman and her husband Bud of Tulsa.
