My condolences to Colleen's family. I met Colleen years ago through the music ministry of FBC, and we had many connections through our years of teaching at Jenks. She always had a smile for me and time to swap teacher stories. I will miss her.Janet Frazer
Colleen was one of my first friends in the choir at First Baptist Tulsa when I joined in 1980. We sat together in the Alto section under the direction of Jim Davis. Later we worked together in Children's Choirs and went to New Mexico for training and stayed together in a room for a week. We were friends from then on. After I began working as the Music Secretary she never missed giving me a present for Christmas for the next 26 years. Sometimes it was handmade ceramics, sometimes goodies that she made herself, one year she gave me an antique candy dish but no matter how small or how big the present she never forgot!! It was always given with a smile no matter how she was feeling physically. I just visited with Colleen at a shower about 3 weeks ago and we had such a good hug and visit with lots of smiles and love.She was one of my greatest supporters and friends in the choir and while working at First Baptist Church Tulsa. I will miss her greatly! I am thankful she is out of pain and worshipping our Lord for eternity.
Colleen's Family, what a shock!. Praise the Lord she's not suffering any more. She was a dear friend to me. We met 45 years ago in the Singles Department, and have been the best of friends over the years. We sang in choir together, since we were altos, we got to sit by each other. We always got together, to meet to eat, shop or see a movie. There was always fun, food & great fellowship! When Bruce and I moved to Missouri, we still kept up with each other. Since my family still lived in Tulsa, she and I would still find time to get together. I dearly loved her so much. She was truly a blessing from God. A true and sweet friend! I met Colleen almost two years ago. I was afraid and didn't want to continue dialysis. Colleen told me to get up every day, put on a pretty blouse and my make up. She said "we may not feel good, but we will look good." She was an inspiration to all and will be missed. Judy Bloss

I have fond memories of being a youngster, visiting great uncle Ernest and great aunt Verginia Lew and all their kids in Yuba City I remember spending time with Colleen mostly as a youngster and then growing up as an adult seeing and visiting with her many times she was always so sweet and treat us kids very special stroll in those pearly gates walk on those gold streets and be with Jesus going to miss you love you Ricky

Colleen was a friend and Kappa sister. She was full of joy and always made us laugh. We will miss her greatly, but have faith that her health has been restored as she goes to be with Jesus. Thank you Colleen for your beautiful friendship. Dana McBurney
