Wesley, John, Jerrad and Emily we were sadden to hear the news. We have many fond memories of Connie that we shared. Thinking of the time we were at Wildwood brings a smile to my face. We laughed so much, we cried. Connie was kind and thoughtful to Honey and Rick. She will always be in our hearts. Good memories, laughs, and how much she loved the Lord and her family. 43 years ago, just after lunch I heard a knock on my door I was greeted with, â??Hi, Neighbor. My name is Connie.â? I invited her in, and we talked and laughed until almost four.Connie came into my house that day, And found a place in my heart and my life. Thank goodness for that knock on the door, Because she will have that place for ever more.I know Connie is with God, now The pain she will no longer have to bear But as I go about my day, missing her Iâ??m constantly wiping away a tear.Connie and I had a good friendship We shared lots of laughs and lots of tears We counseled each other â?? always with love and no judgement A solid friendship that lasted 43 years.Iâ??m left here to carry on without her It wonâ??t be the same as before But I know Connie will be there waiting with a hug When I knock on Heavenâ??s door.Rest in Peace, my dear friend Thanks for all the memories I can go back and explore Thanks for 43 years of love and the friendship Thanks for that knock on the door.
