Connie Sue Compton, age 80, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Tulsa. Connie was born August 20, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George William and Gladys Marie (Shanafelt) Milbourn.
Connie will be dearly missed by her loving husband: Jerry Compton; children: Randy McCurdy, Jody McCurdy, Ed Stanton and wife Suzanne, Mark Stanton and wife Pamela, and Dori Compton; sister: Judy, and husband, Bill Burd; niece: Kelly McClelland; nephews: David McClelland, and Richard Burd; grandchildren: Alex Stanton, Sean Stanton, Heather Sue Kizer and husband Bradley, Toni Marie Smith and husband Bobby, Jason Pruitt and wife Megan, Jonathan Pruitt, Taylor Stanton, Maegen Gallagher and husband Tyler, Jon Mark Stanton, Roxanne Wilson, Nicole Wilson, Victoria James and Alex James; great-grandchildren: Matilda Pruitt, Reese Gallagher, Bryan Rose, Aiden Kizer, Kevin Kizer, Khyli Pittser and husband Aaron, Kennedy Smith, Johnathan Smith, and Ashton Smith; great-great-grandchildren: Luna Pittser and Stella Pittser; sisters-in-law: Conna Wilkinson and Reatha Compton; and brother-in-law: Van Compton and Sheila.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents: George and Gladys Milbourn; son: Kevin William Stanton; father-in-law: Reverend Orra Compton; and mother-in-law: Doris Compton.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:30 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
