Connie Elizabeth Davis' Obituary
Connie Elizabeth Davis, 77, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. She was born April 29, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert and Josephine (Brouhard) McGuire. She attended Hope High School in Hope, Kansas until she married her high school sweetheart on July 4, 1959. They resided in Kansas until the early 1960's when they moved to Tulsa. They had three children Shelley Maynard, Chris Davis, and Kimberly Grigsby. She worked at a variety of jobs until she retired in 2000. She was sweet and generous, always looking for someone to serve. She was known for her beautiful and delicious cakes, T-towel dresses, peanut butter Bonbons, perfectly wrapped presents and chicken salad sandwiches. She was proceeded in death by her parents Ben and Josie Riffel, Bob and Effie McGuire, husband Ronald, his parents Melvin and Ethel Davis, one brother Merlin Riffel, daughter Shelley Maynard, and son Chris Davis.
She is survived by three maternal aunts Betty Frobenius, Elsie Riffel, and Carol Troup; two uncles Clayton Brouhard and Jerry Brouhard; one brother Leland Riffel; five sisters Linda Donnelly, Bonnie McGilbra, Debra Middleton, and Becky Lang; daughter Kimberly and husband Randall Grigsby; nine grandchildren; eleven great grand children; and one great great grandchild as well as deeply loved nieces and nephews too numerous to count.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with a light lunch to follow.
