Connie Lou Medlin's Obituary
Medlin, Connie Lou went to be with our Lord Friday October 7, 2005. Connie was born July 2, 1946 to Denzel and Gerry Davidson. Connie was employed as a Food Service Manager for Union Public Schools at Andersen Elementary School for many years. Connie is survived by her husband Richard of the home, three daughters, Angie White of Wellston, Jill and her husband Musa Natsheh of Safat Israel, Dee Garcia of Broken Arrow, her father Denzel Davidson of Tulsa, three sisters, Carol Schwartz of Tulsa, Patti Wittman of Tulsa, Denise Grubb of Broken Arrow, two sons David Medlin and wife Stacy of Coweta, Joe Medlin and wife Summer of Oklahoma City and 19 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Connie graduated Broken Arrow High School and attended Draughn Business College and worked for Oklahoma State University until her husband’s graduation. She was the bookkeeper for the family business M&M Automotive for 25 years. Connie became the First Lady of the Oklahoma Elks last April when her husband became President and she has been touring the state visiting Elks Lodges and supporting Elks charities. The family asks donations be made to Special Olympics Oklahoma in lieu of flowers. The family viewing and Rosary were held at Floral Haven and the services were held at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. Connie was laid to rest at a graveside service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Monday October 10, 2005
