Constance Blunt's Obituary
Connie Horton Passmore Blunt
Leaving a legacy of love, faith and compassion for all whose lives she touched, Connie is now in her heavenly body. She departed this world from the home she cherished and shared with her late husband, Gary Blunt, in Locust Grove, OK, spending her final days with family and friends as she overlooked her beautiful yard, the birds and deer who brought her joy. She is survived by her sisters, Esther Ruth Hopper and Dorothy Ann Roberts, her 6 children, 23 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren , nephews, nieces and many friends. Born in Grapeland, TX, Connie is the daughter of Constance and Dr. George Horton who, as Christian Missionaries, served in Africa. No matter where she called home, she lived her life dedicated to spreading love, hope and the message of Christ by word and example. She’ll be remembered for her ever-present smiles, laughter, uplifting spirit and hundreds of hours putting puzzles together with anyone who wanted (or needed) to talk or share a cup of coffee. While we grieve, we share in the knowledge that she is with us always from within. We thank God for the gift of Connie Blunt.
