Coy Franklin Casey's Obituary
Coy Franklin Casey, also known affectionately by his family as “Bay Bo,” was born on September 9, 1954, in Lawton, Oklahoma. His parents were Coy Jackson Casey and Luella Miller Casey. He grew up on Lake Eufaula and was an avid fisherman and decorated tournament fisherman. In 1982, Coy moved to Tulsa and began his 31 year career with the City of Tulsa. His last position was the public works supervisor. He considered his co-workers his second family. Coy met the love of his life, Kim Harris in 1988. They were married on November 08, 1990, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a die-hard Oklahoma University fan through the good years and the bad. Coy was definitely a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE SOONER FAN. He had an infectious smile and a gift for making people laugh. Coy was a giver. He always gave of himself and put others before himself always. Coy is survived by his loving wife: Kim Casey; brothers: Roger D. Casey and Roy Casey; sisters-in-law: Gerri Casey, Jennifer Casey, Sarah Casey, and Martha Casey; nephews: Rocky Casey, Jr, Roger J. Casey, John Casey, Joe Casey, Colin Casey, and Brett Casey; nieces: Jennifer “Peb” Casey and Jessy Casey. He is preceded by father: Coy J. Casey; mother: Luella Jones; stepfather: Harley Jones; brothers: Rocky J. Casey, Joe Rusty Casey and Robbie L. Casey; grandparents: Frank and JoAnna Miller and Andrew and Sarah Casey. A celebration service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 10, 2014, in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. In honor of Coy, donations can be make to The Tipton Home, P.O. Box 370, Tipton, Oklahoma 73570, in Coy’s name. Coy Franklin “Bay Bo” Casey was loved by all who knew him. He has gone fishing and he will be missed BOOMER!!! SOONER!!!
