Crecy V. Duffey's Obituary
Mrs. Crecy Victoria Duffey was born on Sunday July 3, 1927, daughter of the late Edward B. DuBois and Isa L. Fletcher DuBois. Mrs. Duffey died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Broken Arrow Nursing Facility in Broken Arrow, OK., at the age of 85 years 2 months and 10 days. She was born in Monroe, LA. , and had lived most of her life in Broken Arrow. She was a retired employee at the Tidings of Peace Nursing Home and homemaker and of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Adolph Duffey; two sisters Beemer DuBois and Eva Duke; two brothers J.C. DuBois and Cleveland DuBois; two daughters, Melba Harrendorf and Allien Mayo and her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Tannis and husband Starlin Turner of Bixby, OK and Shelia and husband Rev. Paul Jernigan of Coweta, OK; two sisters, Decie Patton of West Monroe, LA and Cleo Taylor of Monroe, LA.; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 12:30pm inside the Chapel at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow with Rev. Randy Lynn and Rev. Michael Jernigan officiating. Burial arrangements will be made by Floral Haven Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Media Ministry of The Church of God, Trumann, AR.
