Crystal Cook's Obituary
Crystal Pauline Cook, born March 2, 1927, in Gravelly, Arkansas, passed away on January 30, 2025 in Tulsa, OK, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and creativity. She was the beloved daughter of Benjamin and Phoebe Swaim.
Pauline met and married the love of her life, RL Cook, and together they built a beautiful family. In 1951, she moved to Tulsa, where she spent the rest of her life devoted to her family and faith. She was a dedicated churchgoer, always putting her faith at the center of everything she did.
Pauline had a deep love for sewing, painting, and crafting. She poured her heart into making Christmas stockings and baby blankets as cherished gifts for her loved ones. Her hands were rarely still, always creating something special for those she held dear.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Rector, and husband Tim; grandchildren, Brandon Rector and wife Christina, Darren Rector and wife Dana; and great-grandchildren, Robert Rector, Jeremy Rector and wife Melissa, Paul Rector, Luke Rector, and Lyndsie Rector.
She was preceded in death by her husband, RL Cook, and her parents.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8, at 1:00 PM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Pauline’s kindness, creativity, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who were blessed to know her.
