Curtis Burke, age 96, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Monday, April 01, 2024, in Tulsa. Curtis Richard Burke was born February 18, 1928, to Cornielous Thomas and Lottie Belle (Gregory) Burke, in Amarillo, Texas. Curtis married the love of his life, Carmen Jo , in 1956. They were married 60 years, when Carmen Jo passed in 2016. Curtis retired after 32 years as a mechanic for American Airlines. Curtis will be dearly missed by his children: daughter Billie Powell and son Dean Burke and wife Sharon; grandchildren: Jeremy Burke, Christian Burke, Rusty Cearley and wife Chrissy, Heidi Spencer and husband Barry, Holly Hartshorn and husband Robert, Sam Cearley and wife Elizabeth, Katie Smith and husband Shaun, and Dustin Burke; great-grandchildren: Sarah, Caiden, Salem, Hunter, Colton, William, Eva, Reid, Quinn, Elle, Liv, Parker, Chandler, Jaxson, and Saylor; and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Cornielous and Lottie Belle Burke; wife: Carmen Jo Burke; son: David Burke; grandson: Jacob Burke; daughter-in-law: Barbara Burke; a brother and several sisters.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM, Monday, April 8, 2024, at Floral Haven Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. For friends and family that are unable to attend the service in person, click on the following to link to watch:
