Tulsa Nurse of 41 years has gone to Heaven
Cynthia (Cindy) Elaine McDonald, 69, of Tulsa, passed away October 4, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Porta Caeli in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Cindy was born on February 28, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Willard Ross Powell and Opal Marie Powell.
Cindy was a Registered Nurse at Hillcrest Medical Center for 41 years as well as an Orthotics Specialist with Clinicare Medical Solutions who has dedicated her life to serving people. Cindy enjoyed quilting, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her son and grandchildren.
Cindy is reunited with her mother Marie Powell; father Willard Powell; Grandparents Ople and Willie Crawford; aunt Bobbie Ewton, and husband Bill; uncle Jerry Crawford and wife Norma; aunt Mary Sue Warnock, and husband Wesley; brother in law Ted Dill; niece Hailey Dill; and cousin Jennifer Crawford;
Cindy is Survived by her son Ryan Wayne McDonald, and wife Cecilia; her grandchildren Nolan McDonald, and Grayson McDonald; her siblings Laura Dill, and Eric Powell; Nieces and nephews Daniel Lambert, Taylor Carpenter, and husband Jordon; Great nieces and nephews Rebekah Gendron, Gabriel Espinosa, and Jaxson Carpenter; aunt and uncles Lynda Haught, and husband Ron; cousins Jan Bowlin, and husband Mark; Clay Warnock, and wife Becky; Clif Warnock, and wife Jayne; Emily Crawford; Monica Rhoades, and husband Shane; Brian Crawford, and wife Laura; Cilinda Giezentanner, and husband Greg; Stefanie Mitchell and, husband Steve; Matt Haught, and wife Karla; Jason Haught, and wife Leslie; and a host of other family and friends that will forever miss her.
We will be having two Celebrations of Life.
The first will be at the Olive Garden on 71st and Memorial at 2 PM on Monday October 10th for a lunch, conversations and memories.
The second Celebration of Life will held on October 29, 2022 in Cabot, Arkansas, at the home of her son, at 12pm to celebrate Cindy’s life. Please text or call for details.
