Cynthia “Cindy” Gail Stocker, 71, passed away on February 12, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1953, and was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Cindy lived a life filled with love, adventure, and an infectious spirit that touched everyone she met.
As a young woman, Cindy’s adventurous nature shone through in her many stories, including the time she stole her parents’ car to drive back to Virginia to see her best friend after her family had moved to Oklahoma. This daring and spirited act was just one example of Cindy’s bold personality, always seeking joy and connection with those she loved.
Cindy was an avid lover of music, dancing, and travel. She spent many happy hours attending live concerts, dancing to her favorite songs, and exploring new places. Whether it was her love for Hideaway Pizza or sharing laughter with her family, Cindy’s presence was always vibrant and filled with energy.
She is survived by her son, Richard Stocker; sister, Wendy David; nephews, Robby and Matt David; and niece, Lauren Lawson. Cindy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, forever cherished by her family and friends.
