Cynthia D. Whitesell's Obituary
Cynthia Darlene Whitesell departed this earth November 4, 2014 to be with her heavenly Father. A funeral service will be held November 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Floral Haven Chapel. Cyndi was born January 26, 1954 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (mimi), daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved life and could make the best out of any situation. Her laugh was contagious and you never left her without a warm hug and smile.Cyndi was a critical care nurse and she loved every minute of it. It was her calling and she accepted it with open arms. There are so many stories of the lives that she touched. Whether it was with her patients or with their families that she spent hours if needed just talking to them and even giving out her personal phone number so they could call her if they needed anything. She was an angel that walked this earth for so many years and now she is an angel that will still watch over us from heaven. The most important role to Cyndi was her family and being married to her true love and becoming a mother then a grandmother. She would tell stories and share memories of times in life that meant the most to her. She excelled at every role God gave her and even though she will be missed on this earth by all that knew and loved her, we are comforted as a family knowing that she walks hand in hand with God on one side and her dad on the other down the streets of gold.
