Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Williams' Obituary
Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Williams went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on August 5, 1948, in Temple, Texas, to Adolph and Clara Junek.
Cindy was raised in a loving, faith-filled home with her brother, Adolph Jr. After graduating from Temple High School, she proudly earned her degree from Baylor University. She became an elementary school teacher in Waxahachie, Texas—where she met the love of her life, Bob (“Pug”) Williams, who was then serving as the YMCA director. Their connection was instant and enduring. They married on July 29, 1972, beginning a partnership defined by deep love, mutual respect, and unwavering devotion.
When Cindy married Bob, she gained an instant family with his children, Stacy and Scott. Together, Cindy and Bob welcomed two daughters—Jennifer in 1974 and Carey in 1976. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to motherhood. Whether she was baking after-school cookies, cheering her children on in their activities, or modeling steadiness and grace, she was present for every moment. Throughout their 53 wonderful years of marriage, Bob and Cindy built a family rooted in faith, kindness, and togetherness.
To her family, Cindy was the heart and the steady foundation—their true matriarch. She cherished studying the Word in all ways, gardening, and card making, but nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nana.” She was their safe place, their encourager, and the one they turned to with their questions about God, life, and everything in between. Her faith guided every aspect of her life, shaping her words, her actions, and the gentle way she cared for others.
Salt-of-the-earth and steady as they come, Cindy embodied warmth, humility, and quiet strength. She loved her family fiercely and unconditionally, creating a home where everyone felt welcomed, supported, and deeply loved.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph Junek and Clara Mikulas
She is survived by her husband, Bob Williams; daughters Jen Spriggs and husband, Chris, and their children Jake and Ally; Carey Hooper and husband, Brian, and their children Beckham and Paxton; daughter Stacey Beck and husband, Stoney, and their children Ashley and Austin; son Scott Williams and wife, Debbie, and their children Presley, Kennedy, Jillian, Parker, and Ella; brother Adolph Junek Jr. and wife, Sharon; sister-in-law Pam Quinn; great-grandchildren Becka, Hayes, and R.J., with two more on the way; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
