Daisy A. Wolfenbarger's Obituary
Daisy Aileen Wolfenbarger, 77, of Tulsa, passed away June 9, 2015. She was born November 19, 1937 in Myron, Arkansas. She was recently diagnosed with hypotrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. After a short, but valiant fight, she died from complications of the disease.Daisy graduated from Violet Hill High School in 1955 and shortly after moved to Tahlequah, OK. She and Richard were set up on a blind date, but they met each other earlier in the day and quickly realized they were each others dates! They married October 13, 1956 in Melbourne, AR. Their son, Rick, was born the following year.Daisy enjoyed maintaining the home and friends and family were always welcome. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, Days of Our Lives, and the OSU Cowboys.She is survived by husband of 58 years, Richard, son Rick and wife Darlene of Oklahoma City, granddaughters Tara and Renee of Oklahoma City, sister Linda and husband Glenn Bailey of Ash Flat, AR, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Nellie McGuire.Visitation will be Sunday, June 14th from 2-6pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 15th at 12:30pm. Both at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
