Dale Edward Henry's Obituary
Dale Edward Henry, age 68, went to be with our Lord on November 23, 2010. Dale was born in Hammond, Indiana at St. Margaret Hospital on June 9, 1942 at 11:12 p.m. to Marvin R. and Lucille Henry. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin R. and Lucille Henry and his granddaughter, Carissa Diane Henry. Dale is survived by his wife of 47 years Carriole; two sons, Michael Duane and Patrick Dale; one daughter, Kathy Pearman; four grandchildren, Alanna Tuttle, Donald Henry, Sr., Nichole Sondereggert, and Edward Ledbetter; and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Curtis and Roy who reside in Illinois, and Marvin I. (Butch) who resides in Florida, and many nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.Dale was in the Air Force from September 1960 to September 1968. He joined the Air National Guard in 1972 and retired from the 138th Fighter Wing in 1998. He would get tears in his eyes when he heard the National Anthem; he was a very patriotic person. Dale spent 27 years in the service of the U.S. Postal Service. In January 2008, he retired from the position as a supervisor in the business mail division (BMEU). Dale was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. His passing has left a void in his families’ lives that can never be filled.
