Dale Eugene Hollis' Obituary
Dale E. Hollis passed away on April 8, 2014. Dale was born in Pryor, Oklahoma on May 20, 1936, to Virgil (Gene) and Lela Hollis. Dale graduated from Muskogee Central High in 1955, Northeastern State University and the Naval Officer’s School in Pensacola, Florida. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was affiliated with Sigma Nu Fraternity. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for several years. After leaving the Navy, he obtained his Real Estate and Broker’s license and was self employed. Dale lived on his ranch in Porum, Oklahoma, before entering the Veterans Center in Talihina, Oklahoma, where he was at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lela Hollis. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Bell, brother-in-law, Derrall Bell, daughter, Lisa and other family members. A graveside service was held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
