It is sad to hear of the passing of Dale. He was a generous man. He will be remembered.
Rest in peace cousin, you will not be forgotten.
I just learned of my dear friend's passing. I met Dale when I was 13 and he was 14. There was group of us that ran around all through school. Sock hops, playground dances, movies, the Coed, school sports…so much fun. When Dale left for Viet Nam I wrote to him several times a week to keep him up on our friends. He brought me a doll that to this day, almost 50 years later , still sits in my living room. When he moved away we kept in touch. Usually a late night call since he never remembered the time difference. The last time he came home got to meet Jeanette and Kelli but that was so long ago. Time passes but memories are forever. I know Rosie and his brother were there to greet him and in the thunder I will hear his laugh. Rest well my friend. Julie Maurer
We met you at St.Thomas More Church and every time we would run into you it was like time had never past. Rest in peace my friend. Jim and Christine Thompson
Dale, was one of the best friends I ever had in my life. I'm sorry that I lost contact with him after I retired in 2007. We spent many weekends fishing on fort Gibson lake when he had his pontoon boat. Their was never a dull moment when Dale was around. He will be deeply missed, but n ever forgotten. Larry Smith
I am not sure where to start as there are so many stories…mostly funny and typical Dale Tales! He will be missed by our entire family but we were blessed to have enjoyed his life with him! Sue Banschbach
The world has lost one of its great ones. I met Dale when I started working at USCC. He was a great friend and co-worker. He would tell you like it is and hold nothing back. He loved talking about his family; his â??brideâ?, children and grandchildren. Not only did he speak of them with unconditional love and pride, you could see it in his face. One of the stories that he told more than once, was how Jeanette convinced him that they needed another baby. Not much later Kelli was born. He was pretty proud of that feat because he always told it with a big smile on his face.He will be greatly missed.
