Damon Stewart's Obituary
Damon Stewart, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. He was born on July 2, 1937, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and was a proud veteran of the US Air Force.
Damon was a man of few words but immense depth, known for his reserved nature and dry sense of humor that never failed to bring a smile to the faces of those around him. He found joy in the simple things in life, particularly in the quiet moments spent tending to his garden, casting a line while
fishing, or keeping busy with projects around the house.
A true family man at heart, Damon cherished the time spent with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be forever treasured. His passion for music and his talent for playing the guitar brought joy to him and served as a reflection of his warm and gentle soul.
Farm kid at heart, Damon carried the values of hard work, perseverance, and a deep connection to the land throughout his life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as a man who embodied kindness, strength, and a genuine love for life.
Damon is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Maxine, Juanna, Chloe and Jean
Damon is survived by his wife Sandra “Kay” Stewart, son Paul Stewart and wife Sandi, daughter Lynn Stewart, step-daughter Robbie Garland and husband Mark, step-daughter Kim Kaser and husband Todd, grandson Brandon Kingfisher and wife Jessica, grandson Zach Garland and wife Kayla, granddaughter Rachel Whiteman and husband Ronnie, grandson Chase Ferman, grandson Crew Kaser, grandson Christian Kaser and wife Dakota, granddaughter Camryn Kaser, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home at 10:00 AM until the time of the service
Graveside service will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Veteran Field of Honor Ext II
