Danny Johnson, age 60 years old, passed from this life April 27, 2016Daniel Lee Johnson was born April 17, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born the eldest son of Daisy Lois and Leroy Johnson. He has two younger siblings, his brother Larry and sister Patty. At the age of 21 he met the love of his life, his wife Debbie. In the year 1983 they moved from Indiana to Oklahoma to follow their hearts and what God had put before him. In 1991 after many years of trying, Dan finally had his first and only child; a son named Joshua. Dan a proud father and found the most joy in life to be his family. He loved sports including Nascar and football. So much so that he helped coach Broken Arrow youth sports for many years. Dan had two careers in his life, he painted with his best friend Mark for many years. After that he had a deep passion and love for driving so that’s exactly what he did. Dan and Debbie loved to take trips, short drives to Branson or back home to Indianapolis to be with family. He was always content behind the wheel. Dan loved the Lord and sang in many church choirs and worship bands. He was always a go to source for any song lyric or singers name. Dan and Debbie were married for 39 years, even tho not everyday was easy, the love for his wife was unquestionable even though they did not live a extravagant lifestyle, he made sure his son and wife did not go with out. Dan was a man of simple things, one of his favorite things to do was to get in the car with his wife and beloved dog/ confidant Mr. Bubbles. They would go to grab a Coke and go for a short drive. Dan enjoyed nothing more than being with his wife, son and daughter in law / favorite cook Jes. Either playing board games or watching TV, Dan just wanted to be with his family and friends.Service will be held Friday, May 6th, 5:30 p.m. at Harvest Church located at 1814 S Main St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.If you wish to send flowers, Please do so to either Harvest Church on Friday between 2:30 pm and 4 pm or to Debbie or Josh Johnson at 417 S.
