Dear John, Brenda, sons John Nikolai and Joshua and the Pagteilan-Bayasen clan,We too grieve in the passing of your son, Daniel. We feel like we have lost a son also. We cry "why so early – he's so young" but God has infinite mercy and love specially for those who seek Him, for those who mourn and for those who love Him. Daniel may have left a void in your hearts and in the hearts of all those who love him but fill them up instead with those sweet memories of him. That face, that smile is so real….. he is looking down and smiling at each one of you in that same old familiar smile you've all been used to and he seems to be gently whispering "grieve not for I am going home to our Father in Heaven". . He left early but someday you will all meet again. "Rest eternal, grant unto them, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon them. Daniel in the Bible is a masculine and good-looking person. A dream interpreter that earned him respect, honor, and status. A person grounded in his faith in God. He spoke for God and God was always with him. Indeed, Daniel means, "God is my judge".To John and Brenda and your family and our wider family, naming one of your sons' Daniel is wonderful. You made a good choice. You must be proud of that though losing him too early is unfathomable.
