Dan Powell, a man, a father, a brother, a husband, a friend and so much more. Dan was an upright man, and would be found first in line when it came to helping someone, without reserve. Dan was a soldier and veteran of the Viet Nam War, and carried the scars, but never showed them. He was a soldier of life, but never gave into the trials and tribulations that came his way. He restored some of the finest cars of the 68-71 era of super cars and the top honors he received left no doubt to the quality of his workmanship. He is and was my twin brother, first born, and loved to let me know it. Such a loving, kindhearted individual that God allowed me to share our mothers womb with, and yet he was a mans man…strong and steadfast in his approach to lifes issues. Blessed is the person that can call Dan his brother, father, husband, friend, or neighbor, for he was there just waiting and watching to see if you needed his help in any way! I love you too Dan, and your passing will never change that; for my memories of you will always be with me to cherish and reminisce when the sweet perfume of your kindness passes by. Thank you for leaving a guide post for the rest of us to find our way, in the wake of your loving kindness. May the Lord of Hosts embrace you in the heavenlies as He welcomes you home…and tells you "Well done, my good and faithful servant". "You are Home"! You are free now brother, from the bondages of pain and suffering. Amen! Love always and for an eternity, your twin brother Ron…
