Darick Hassan Brown's Obituary
Darick Hassan Brown, 46, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away December 24, 2019. Darick was born on July 29, 1973 in Cherry Hill, NJ, the youngest male of five siblings. A product of Camden City schools, Darick graduated Woodrow Wilson High School June, 1991. He remained in New Jersey until 2005 when he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Walmart associate for over thirteen years, he made many friends among his fellow associates and regular customers. Darick never met a stranger. With his gift for storytelling, mischievous grin, quirky sense of humor, kindness and generosity of spirit, he touched many lives. He loved cars, DC comics, eclectic music genres, and cooking.He is survived by his father Lyndon Brown Sr., sister Vivian Vanderhorst, brother Gary Vanderhorst and sister-in-law Pamela, brother Lyndon Brown Jr. and sister-in-law Dale, sister Ina Earl and brother-in-law Kelly, nieces Aya Vanderhorst, Jaelyn Brown, Iyana Brown, Saniya Earl, and nephew Jusere Brown. He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Josephine V. Brown.Celebration of life services will be held at 3pm on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Sally Chaney officiating.
