Darlene H. Ives' Obituary
Darlene Ives, born November 28 1937 to Willard and Guinevere James in Tulsa Ok, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2024. She passed peacefully at home in Broken Arrow Ok at the age of 86.
She was married to Everett Ives for almost 60 years. They married in February of 1956 right before he was drafted. She then graduated from Central High School that same year. She started as a secretary for Electrolux and later became a Regional Manager for Sarah Coventry Jewelry. In 1978 she and Everett started Metro Mechanical Supply and owned and operated it until 2018.
Darlene had a natural talent for buying, decorating, enjoying, and selling properties in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Fort Worth TX, Bella Vista AK, and Fort Walton Beach Florida. She and Everett spent many happy years together at these places. Their love of the beach is shared by the family, and we will forever treasure the times spent there with them. She also loved playing golf with Everett, family, and friends and was a long-time member of Indian Springs Country Club. Darlene was extremely generous to her family and friends as well as numerous charitable organizations.
