Darlene Ann Piersall, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 25, 2021. She was born on February 23, 1933, to parents Aaron “Spike” and Ruby Watkins. Darlene is survived by her daughter Janna Stafford; 4 grandchildren, Kara Read Obituary
I have sweet memories of family times spent with Gene & Darlene especially at Aunt Ruth and Uncle Arch's home in Woodward. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Janna and all the family. We hold you in our hearts and prayers. Sherry & Don Kelly
Blessings and love to your beautiful family. I first met Darlene when she worked in the outpatient department in Tulsa at Hillcrest Hospital. I was a patient at that time. She looked pretty tired. I said, "How are you?" She answered, "I didn't get much sleep last night. my first grandson was born." His name was Micah.
Later, I went to work in the outpatient department, and Darlene and I became great friends. I so enjoyed knowing her family. Her mom was really competitive at dominos and every time they had a visit with Darlene and Gene we would get a game going.
The last time I visited with Darlene and Gene was about 20 years ago when I was driving through Tulsa. What a dear soul she was and a great friend to many people. She and Gene were very kind. I know you all will miss her greatly. Darlene was always the kind of person that made me want to be a better person. I'm truly grateful for the times we spent together. Jeanie Daugherty
