Darlene Rogers' Obituary
TULSA - Darlene Rogers, 90, passed away on December 9, 2023. Darlene was born on February 5, 1933, in Hominy, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Mary Lois Shook; her brother Wilburn Shook as well as her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Aubrey Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Darla of Bixby, Oklahoma as well as numerous nephews, nieces, friends and extended family.
Darlene embraced her roles of wife, mother and homemaker. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing and taking care of family. Later in life, she took up oil painting. She loved the simple things in life and always got a thrill out of watching fireworks, seeing Christmas lights and experiencing a fresh snow. Her favorite travel spot was any beach where she could collect seashells. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20th, 4-7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
