Darryl Eugene Lane, Jr., aged 60, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, peacefully departed this life on the morning of Wednesday, August 30, 2023, within the comfort of his Tulsa residence. He graced the world with his presence on September 15, 1962, in Marion, Indiana, born to his devoted parents, Darryl Eugene Lane and Shirley Ann Lloyd Lane. On July 1, 1990, he joined hands in matrimony with Margaret Ann Boris, embarking on a journey that spanned over 33 remarkable years.
Darryl possessed a deep passion for fishing, finding solace and joy in casting his line amidst serene waters. He had an undying love for the cinematic marvels that unfolded onscreen, as well as for the sun-kissed shores of the beach, where he found tranquility. His affection extended to the creatures of the wild, particularly otters, frogs, and sharks, captivating his heart with their uniqueness. In the realm of motorsports, he reveled in all things NHRA and embraced the world of automobiles with unwavering enthusiasm. His adventurous spirit shone through as he embarked on exhilarating motorcycle rides and off-road 4-wheeling escapades.
Above all else, Darryl cherished the bonds of family. He professed his enduring love for his wife and daughter, affirming that family was an eternal and unwavering cornerstone of his life.
In accordance with the family's wishes, a private service will be held at a later date to commemorate the life and legacy of Darryl Eugene Lane, Jr.
