Paul, Linda and rest of family, we are so very sad to receive the news that Daryl is gone. Our hearts are heavy and we pray for you as you grieve the loss of a treasured family member.
I cannot believe he is gone. Daryl was still in high school when I last saw him and did not see him again until 2007.He had grown into a very big and handsome man. I only recognized him by his voice when I told my son, "you have not introduced your friend to me". He said "dsd, this is Daryl and then I knew the voice and could hardly believe it. Daryl and my son, Dr. Philip Gibson have been life long best friends since they met in high school. I truly welcomed this highly intelligent teen into our family. Daryl always seemed so happy- Though I have not been around him for years, I shall not forget his friendship with my son and I shall miss him. I am glad he was a part of our lives. May the hearts of the family soon heal. Goodbye Daryl, we shall miss you.
