David was a big part of every day operations here at the shop. He was a huge help as well with our other properties and always took on any task that was presented to him even if he had never done that before. He was becoming a jack of all trades. During his years as a scout we always enjoyed working with him and he always had great leadership skills and was always willing to help other scouts from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. Working for the last couple of years with him every day made things run smoothly and allowed for us to have more free time in the evenings knowing he would be here the next day to carry out his duties. Not only a mechanic in the making but when our girls had to spend the days here at the shop they always looked to David to help them with the TV, computer, air up their bike tires, help them microwave their lunch and usually ref their arguments. Lunch time around here was always a challenge, David would start thinking lunch about 9:30am every day and had a particular fondness for Ron’s Chili Burger and Chili cheese fries. He would make a special trip to Claremore on any given day to pick up lunch there. Mike will miss his lunch buddy, they always had a plan way before lunch as to who was getting what to eat. Huey will miss his partner to banter with every day, David was getting quite good and giving it right back when they would get started in their crazy conversation. David had an unquestionable love for his family and friends but none more than his little brother Daniel. David was like one of our own kids and our hearts are broken and hurting. I know as the days go by it will become easier to walk into the shop and not expect you to be here but for now we miss you every day. May you Rest In Peace knowing you were loved by many and will be missed by all.
