David Belmont Fox's Obituary
David Belmont Fox, beloved husband, father, step-father, grandfather, step-grandfather and friend, born Thursday, August 19, 1943 in Dracut, Massachusetts to his loving parents Nelson & Hannah Fox; went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2016 in Muskogee, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side. David or better known as “Papa Dave” by his loving family, David has been a resident of the Broken Arrow area for over twenty-five years. Originally from New London, New Hampshire David left home after high school and served his country honorably and proudly in the United States Air Force. After his service to his country David returned home to New Hampshire becoming an electrician and working with the New Hampshire Electric Union, Local 490 for thirty years before relocating and settling down in the Tulsa area. David had many interest and enjoyed many things in his free time such as shooting, fishing, boating, gardening where he was able to express his love of John Deere equipment, building model airplanes, working on obtaining his pilot’s license and even building a kit plane to enjoy his passion for flying. What David truly enjoyed and was the greatest passion in his life was his family and spending time with them. Fond memories will always be cherished of David as he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and those that had their lives touched by him. David is preceded in death by his loving parents, Nelson & Hannah Fox. David is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Fox; his two loving children, Jason Fox & wife Debra and Matthew “Matt” Fox & wife Shannon; his loving stepchildren, Diana Arguelles, Sandy Arguelles, Josue Arguelles and German Arguelles; his dearly loved grandchildren, Jesse Fox, Coty Fox, Nathan Fox, Ryan Fox, Caleb Fox and Natalie Fox; his dearly loved step grandchildren, Kamila Sanchez, Joaquin Sanchez Ivanna Sanchez, Julietta Soria, Sophia Soria and numerous other loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
