To the greatest Father-in-Law:I already miss you so much!!! You will never know how much you mean to me. Thank you for being a wonderful example to our family. You will be remembered as a compassionate and Godly man by anyone who has ever met you. Without you, this world will not be the same. I love you from the bottom of my heart! Dear Shirley and the Brown family members whom I have not met: Shirley, my treasured friend since high school, you have my sincere condolences in the loss of your wonderful husband, Ed. His light shined even in Ohio, and brightened every room he entered. If ever anyone carried the love of Jesus in his countenance, it was Ed. His was a spirit to be emulated. It was a privilege to know him for the last 38 years. I know he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. May God be your comfort as He welcomes Ed into his heavenly home. Blessings to all.

Ed, You will be sorely missed. Heaven has gained an angel and we have lost a friend, until we join you at the Throne of Jesus. I will never forget you. I will never forget your smile when you came to pick us up to take us to church. I will never forget the shine in your eyes when we made you cinnamon rolls. I will always think of you when I make the rolls either for home or for church. I will never forget all the special things you did to help Mom and I. I will smile every time I think of you introducing us as your “wife-approved girl friends”.We will see you again when we join you at the throne of God. Rest well in His arms.
