David Lee Bryan's Obituary
David Lee Bryan passed away on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at home surrounded by family and friends. He is survived in death by his wife of 24 years, Lisa Suzanne Bryan, and two children Wilson Mitchell Bryan and Nancy Renae Diaz. He is survived by three siblings June Willsey, Edward Bryan, and Nancy Eldred. David was proceeded in death by his parents Floyd and Lorina Bryan, his brother Thomas WIlson Bryan, and his son Douglas Nathan Bryan.David graduated from Catoosa High School and proceeded to attend Oklahoma State Technical School for an Associates in Electrical Engineering. David was a licensed electrician for 18 years and enjoyed hobbies of hunting, fishing, noodling, and building classic cars. David’s fondest memories are of cooking with his dad for the annual Replogle Fish Fry. David was a kind, talkative, and humorous man that will be remembered for his joking and talkative nature.David was very active with the Catoosa Scout Troop 301and served as the Committee Chair. During his tenure with the scout troop he served as the base camp coordinator for many camping trips, and was able to enjoy his favorites hobbies while cooking for the troop. David’s service with the Scout Troop allowed him the opportunity to enjoy good company, conversation, and share his knowledge of nature with the boys. This was the drive behind his wish to see his son achieve his Eagle. One of the last memorable moments for David, was the opportunity to see his son complete his Eagle Scout. Aside from Scouts, David was active with the Highland Park chapter of the Oklahoma DeMolay. Like scouts, David had the opportunity to teach his son and other boys several valuable things that would help them be more responsible, independent, and successful young men.A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Will Rogers Methodist Church, 1138 South Yale, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74112.Memorial contributions can be made in David’s honor and name to the Oklahoma DeMolay Association, Attention: Suzanne Bryan, 234 S. 305th E Avenue, Catoosa, Oklahoma 74015.
