David Crossman's Obituary
David Crossman passed from this life on December 3, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on February 25, 1929 in Coffeyville, KS to Elmer and Cora Mae Crossman. David was the fifth child of six children. He married the love of his life Sarah Elizabeth Rogers in 1947. He served a short while in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Tulsa in 1959 and worked several years in the grocery store business. He was a member of the Mason’s at Tulsa Lodge #71 for over 50 years and was a Past Worshipful Master Mason. He retired after 28 years working for CE Invalco in Tulsa. He also managed O’Brian little league park for 11 years and worked as an baseball umpire for 17 years. He was an active member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Tulsa for 40 years. David is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Cora Mae, his brothers, Roy Hickman, Emmitt Hickman, Glenn Crossman and his sisters Anna Bell Hickman, Ruth Crossman and Esther Crossman, great grandsons Quincy Townsell and Justin Simpson. He is survived by his loving wife Sarah Elizabeth, his children Bill and Vickie Crossman of Turley, OK, Kathy and Jose Velasquez of Tulsa, OK and Randy and Pam Crossman of Durant, OK, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2801 S. 129th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014. A separate graveside service will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville, KS at 3:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.
