Malone and her husband Jim of Priest River, ID, and his six grandchildren Jadon, Carter, Lane, Connor, Zayne, and Emerson.Dave enjoyed studying the stars, weather and sunsets. He loved going to the park to feed the ducks and spend time talking to God. He would often take photographs, especially of nature, which he said was God’s artwork. He was a jet and classic car enthusiast, and was friends with a man who owned several classic cars that he was able to borrow. He used one for the wedding send-off for my younger sister, and another he took to a car show at his home church. That was a proud moment for him! His dream was to one day restore a classic car of his own.He was the kind of person who would bend over backwards to help someone in need, whether he had known them twenty years or twenty minutes. He truly had a servant’s heart. Over the past 10 years while working at Lowe’s, he made many friends and touched many lives. He helped fix equipment and cars, and even helped out with yard work for friends and family in his free time. He had a heart for people, and always had encouraging words and prayers for those who needed it.One of his favorite scriptures, and his motto in life, was Psalm 118:24, which says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” If he made one person smile or laugh in a day, he considered his day a success. He openly shared his faith in Jesus and the love of Christ. While he may have seemed tough on the outside, he had a tender and loving heart.Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 21st, 2018 at 3:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
