Dr. David Dick's Obituary
Dr. David Ward Dick, 59, passed from this life on May 13, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved on to the glory of Gods kingdom. He entered this world on July 30, 1966, in Nashville, Tennessee, beginning a legacy defined by determination, compassion, and a deep commitment to others. He was the cherished son of Wallace “Wally” and Jean Dick, who nurtured in him the values that would guide his life’s work.
From a young age, David stood out. He excelled both on the football field and in his academic journey, forming friendships that lasted decades and leaving an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His drive, talent and curiosity landed him a scholarship at Oklahoma State University, where he proudly became an OSU Cowboy. His passion for helping others inspired him to pursue and complete a doctorate in Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City Missouri. His profession through which he touched countless lives.
As a chiropractor, David was deeply respected, not only for his skill, but for the kindness, patience, and genuine care he offered every person who walked through his door. Helping others wasn’t just his career; it was his calling. David loved the Lord, and served Him with his life. You could spend just 5 minutes with David & know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this man loved Jesus!
David’s life was one of purpose, connection, and dynamic strength. His impact lives on in the people he healed, the friends he uplifted, and the family who loved him beyond measure.
David leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife and best friend Sarah Dick; sons Michael Johnson, Brandon Brown, and Joshua Dick ; daughters Rachel Brewer and Lorraine Underwood; father and mother Wallace “Wally” and Jean Dick; father and mother in law Tom and Debbie Pickens; along with numerous grandchildren and other family members and friends who will forever cherish David’s memory. David joins birthmother Bonnie Bohner Dick and sister Jennifer Jane Dick in eternal rest.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 10am at The Path Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
