Born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Koa Kupuka'a Kimokeo and Juan Paguirigan Dominique, David was a bit of a rascal and curious boy. He started off his life as a young child finding his passion for the beach rather than attending school. However; in August of 1969 when he was 18, David enlisted in the Army where he was able to obtain a high school diploma in September of 1971.
While serving in the military and stationed at Camp Zama in Japan , he met his wife, Olivia Ann Turpen, who was also serving at the same Army base. Having won her love over by polishing her shoes every night. They married June 1971 and went on to have 2 children. David put family first and was a dedicated father. His children went on to pursue careers in the Military and Sales and Logistics.
After his service in the Army, David started his career with the United States Post Office in December of 1984 as a letter carrier until his retirement with the USPS on 31 August 2021. Throughout his years with the postal service, he gained friendships with co-workers and also families along his delivery route that he still maintained up until and even after his passing.
David was also a passionate detailer and enthusiast when it came to cleaning his cars, the Pride of Broken Arrow marching band, and ironing his wife's clothes every day. He spent most of his retirement "donating" to the 'Reservation's Education Fund', at the surrounding Casinos in town catching up on YouTube videos and movies. He always had a video in mind to share with his family.
