David Edward Horsley's Obituary
David Edward Horsley, was born June 23, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio and passed away August 29, 2016 in Glenpool, Oklahoma. After finishing school David joined the Air Force and would later be honorably discharged after four years of service. After his time in the service David went to work at American Airlines as an Aircraft Mechanic where he would retire after 36 years. David was married to Donna Lou Horsley (Canter) on March 3, 1962. Together the couple have three children, son, Wade, daughter, Dawn, and son, Danny. When David was not working he enjoyed spending time with his family. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren and going to their activities. David loved cars, collecting golf balls and watching baseball. David will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. David is survived by his spouse Donna L. Horsley; son, Wade Horsley and his spouse Leann of Naperville, IL; daughter, Dawn Horsley-Guthrie and her husband Dane of Bixby, OK; son, Danny Horsley of Bixby, OK; grandchildren, Catherine and Matthew Horsley of Naperville, IL; “grand dogs” Bella and Brinley; sister-in-law Mary J. Horsley of Portsmouth, OH and long time friends George and Linda Swift and T.D. and Sharon Tommey. David is preceded in passing by his parents Eugene and Jaunita Horsley; brother Harlan and sister Mable Horsley-Fannin. There will be a visitation Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 5-7 p.m.at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral service will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
