Oh, David, Bless his heart, he let me live with him and Renea and Janet for awhile many years ago. That man was so sweet. I always thought he sounded like a Yankee and had to rub that in. At the time, he and Renea spoiled little adorable Janet rotten. Cutest little girl I knew. David had the most beautiful smile, but I never told him that. I should have. Renea worshipped David and so did Janet. He had the kindness heart. David was one of a kind and I am so thankful that my cousin found a man like David. David, you will be missed by sooooo many. David and I became brothers-in-law a little over 23 years ago, and after a brief period of concern over marrying a woman with four older brothers, David made me feel like I had been a member of the family since day one. We shared a military background in common and that gave us much food for conversation and good natured ribbing of one another. One of the best parts of our relationship was knowing I always had someone that would know how to fix my car because David had taught himself so well over the years. Speedy Journey, I will miss you.

For the past 44 years our family has been truely been blessed having David as our dear brother in-law. He was my sister, Renea's, soul mate and one true love. A wonderful husband and father. David has always been the type of person that would give a stranger the shirt off his back if they asked for it. He loves old movies, especially John Wayne westerns, and 1945 music. One of the proudest momments I remember was in 1991 when his Marine reserve unit was deployed to Desert Storm. He did our family and nation proud! I will miss his charm, witt and humor.
David was a good friend and a great cousin-in-law. I especially enjoyed his conversations during our weekly eat out at Golden Corral every Tuesday evening, and the fun times we had attending numerous gun shows in the Tulsa area.
David was one of my closest friends and it is a great loss for not only his family but for me as well. Charlotte and I have a lot of fond memories of David and the time we spent as neighbors in Tulsa.Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and daughter as well as the rest of his family. I only wish I were able to be there for his services.
