David W. Jackson's Obituary
David W. Jackson (Nov.12, 1941-Aug.20-2017) was the eldest child of Mozelle and Richard Jackson. During his elementary years, he cultivated a love not only for the Dodgers but also for animals. This love endured throughout his life. He graduated from Central High School in 1960. After high school, he attended TU where he earned a political science degree. Shortly after graduation, he attended OCS (Officers’ Candidacy School) in Colorado after which he served in Vietnam as an aide to a general. Upon his return, he attended TU where he earned a law degree. In addition, he also obtained CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification. His law career included Schuman Law Firm, Facet , and the (FDIC) Federal Insurance Corporation. He served on the family committee for Jackson Park. David is survived by his wife Brenda, his brother Tom, his sisters Rosemary Siegele and Sharon Wilson and her spouse Lyle Wilson. David’s children include Rick Jackson and his wife Delores and Robyn Thompson and her husband Eric, and two stepsons Bruce and Brad Gramm. He has six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew. His memorial service will be at Fellowship Christian Church in Broken Arrow on Aug. 29 at 10:00 under the direction of Floral Haven.
