David Kay Keaton's Obituary
David Kay Keaton, 78 of Tulsa Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2022. He was born on October 29, 1943 in Stone Bluff, Oklahoma to Edward and Elsie Keaton.
David is survived by his loving wife, Beth; two daughters, Kimberly Milwicz and husband Steve, and Krista Taylor and husband Steve; five grandchildren, Kailey Moore, Kelsie Keaton, Kyler Taylor, Kacey Taylor, D.J. Milwicz; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Edwards and Sue Barber; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad Edward Keaton, mother Elsie Keaton, and his brother Joed Keaton.
David attended Skiatook High School and Northeastern State University. Upon graduation, he was commissioned into the U.S. Navy as an Ensign and then continued his Naval service as a reservist, retiring as Lieutenant Commander in 1988. He also enjoyed a 28-year career in Information Technology with B.P. Amoco until his retirement in 1998.
Highlights of his retirement included boating on Lake Tenkiller; scoring two holes-in-one on LaFortune Golf Course, scuba diving, woodworking, volunteering at Companion Dog School of Tulsa; spending time with family; fussing at his daughters and spoiling his grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jacob Bice officiating.
