David Masingale, 74
Born July 18, 1946 in Tulsa Oklahoma
Died August 4, 2020 in Claremore, OK VA Center
David was born to Chester and Wilma Masingale. He was born #3 of 9 children. David served in the Army during the Vietnam war. Spending most of his service time in San Francisco, CA and Puerto Rico. Dave was an accomplished rock sculptor. His sculptures were featured in the Philbrook museum and Gilcrease Museum. His stories were told in the Oklahoma magazine. David made beautiful jewelry. All of the girls in the family, his sisters got the best. He was a carpenter and a mechanic. He loved to fish and was most comfortable at his home on his land.
David is survived by his children; son, Darrell David Masingale, and children Morgan and Trevor, his daughter, Tammy Renee and husband Chuck Browne and children Tyler, Kimberly and Chazz, and son Tommy Lee Masingale and children Blake and Stephanie, his brother Donald Lee and wife Cindy Masingale of Beverly Beach, Florida, sister Linda Vaughn of Morrilton, Arkansas, brother Larry and Mary Masingale of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, sister Marsha Ponder of Checotah, Oklahoma, brother Danny Masingale of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, sister Mary Gregg of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister Alecia Campbell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister Joy Haywood of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Chester and Willie Masingale.
